Healing Happens Outdoors

Outdoor Therapy

I love taking client sessions outdoors because the movement of our bodies & fresh air create a natural sense of ease & openness. The outdoors allow for deeper conversations, & reduces the pressure of traditional face-to-face therapy while fostering mindfulness & connection. Nature has a powerful way of supporting healing, & I’ve seen how it helps my clients feel more grounded, present, & empowered in their healing journey.

Investment:

$75 for 50 minute session

$100 for 50 minute session + 30 minute breath work & sound bath

Meeting Locations: Lake Cliff in Dallas, TX & Vitruvian Park in Addison, TX

Benefits of Outdoor Therapy

  1. Boosts Mood and Creativity – Movement increases endorphins & dopamine levels, which can improve our mood & help with problem-solving, self-reflection, & increase our self-awareness.

  2. Reduces Stress & Anxiety - Being in nature can lower cortisol levels, helpings us feel more relaxed during therapy sessions.

  3. Encourages Mind-Body Connection – Gentle movement while talking can help clients feel more in tune with their emotions & physical sensations, supporting holistic healing.

  4. Supports Trauma Processing – Bilateral movement (like walking or stretching) can activate both hemispheres of the brain, similar to EMDR, which may help with processing traumatic experiences.

  5. Reduces the Pressure of Eye Contact – For some clients, face-to-face conversations can feel intimidating; with the client focusing on the movement of their body, opening up may become easier.

  6. Improves Physical Health – Body movement supports cardiovascular health, reduces tension, & promotes overall well-being, complementing the mental health benefits of therapy.
